From January to August 2012, the output of daily-use plastic products reached 3.077 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.83%. In August, China produced 377,000 tons of daily-use plastic products, a year-on-year increase of 11.61%.
Judging from the output of various provinces and cities, from January to August 2012, the output of daily-use plastic products in Guangdong Province reached 710,000 tons, an increase of 21.56% year-on-year, accounting for 23.09% of the country's total output. Followed by Zhejiang, Hunan and Jiangsu provinces, they accounted for 20.58%, 8.51%, and 6.93% of the total output respectively.
