(3) Pull the groove. Use a slotted knife to pull the back of the book into a triangular or rectangular groove with a groove depth of about 1.2 mm (the grooved knife is divided into triangles and rectangles), and the groove spacing is about 5 to 12 mm (the relevant parameters can be enlarged or reduced according to the paper).
(4) Sizing. The sizing is divided into a plug of the first gel pot and a sizing of the second pot. In principle, there can only be a gap of 0 to 5 filaments between the back of the book and the stopper wheel, so that the hot melt adhesive can be inserted into the groove of the book, and the radius of the rubberized wheel is about 3 mm larger than the radius of the stopper wheel. In principle, there can only be a gap of 1 to 2 mm between the back of the book and the rubberizing wheel of the second plastic pot, ensuring sufficient glue on the back strap of the book. Avoid loose leaf control

(2) When the book enters the book holder, the spacing of the book holder should be moderate. It is necessary to allow the book to enter normally and not to be too large to prevent the book from being deformed due to the softness of the material, resulting in the inability to drive the long car or Milling is not possible to form a loose leaf.
(3) Milling back must be milled and milled thoroughly (the first and last posts of the platform fold must be bundled, otherwise it may not be milled to form a loose leaf), be careful not to be milled into a diagonal back, otherwise It is easy to form a loose leaf. There are two main reasons for the formation of the oblique back: 1 passivation of the milling back knife edge; 2 the transition block of the small turntable edge with the book plane is worn. If the back slant causes the subsequent sizing to form a high and low point (ie, the low point is full and the high point is insufficient) and the above several texts are scattered, a feasible solution is to replace the milling back in time and the wear transition The block is filled by welding and repaired in place (especially in spring and autumn, the milling back knife must be in place).
(4) Avoid the passivation or incompleteness of the slotting knife, or the two slotting knives only have one work, and the other does not work; avoid the mismatch of the speed of the main body and the slot to make the groove spacing become larger, and the glue penetration and bonding point becomes Less and loose pages; avoiding the mismatch between the height of the milling cutter and the height of the slotting knife makes the groove depth insufficient and can easily lead to loose pages.
The prevention method is: before each shift, the captain is required to pull a light to verify whether the work of the slotting cutter is normal. If it is normal, it must be signed and confirmed by the captain and quality inspector; if there is any problem, it needs to be adjusted in time. The solution is to change the slot cutter or the rotary slot cutter to adjust the height of the milling cutter or the slot cutter, depending on the configuration.
(5) The temperature of the hot melt adhesive must be strictly monitored. The adhesive temperature is 165-175 °C, and the side adhesive temperature is 155-165 °C (depending on the requirements of the hot melt adhesive manufacturer). The temperature setting value of the preheating glue pot should be slightly higher than the use value, and the preheating glue refilling must be timely. It is strictly forbidden to directly add the raw rubber to the applicator.
In order to ensure the normal temperature of the hot melt adhesive, in each shift in the actual production, the captain and the quality inspector must regularly use the thermal thermometer to measure whether the hot melt temperature is within the specified interval, and make relevant records and sign confirmation. Date, specific time.
During the busy work, the glue pot must be cleaned once every two weeks, and the sediment at the bottom of the pot should be cleaned up to prevent the sediment from rising, which makes the temperature display inaccurate, and eventually leads to book loosening.
Some loose-leaf conditions may not be discovered in time at the production site, so each batch of hot-melt adhesive should be sealed to allow for quality traceback in the event of a loose-leaf failure.
During the quarterly maintenance, the temperature controller's set value, the thermal probe display value, and the thermal measurement thermometer must be corrected to avoid improper adjustment of the temperature display to form a loose leaf.
It is necessary to distinguish between offset glue and copper plate glue according to different paper quality, such as offset glue for high-quantity coated paper.
(6) The thickness of the adhesive layer should be controlled at 0.6 to 1.2 mm, and the thickness of the book should be appropriately adjusted according to the thickness of the book. For thick books, when the glue layer is thin, the middle of the book is easy to loosen the page. In principle, the book with a thickness greater than 20 mm is recommended to be locked.
(7) The indentation of the cover. The two positive marks on the back of the book must be tightly attached to the ridgeline of the back of the book. The indentation can neither be cracked nor too shallow. The key is to be full.
(8) The clamping of the book must be in place. It must be ensured that the book is completely in the slot, and the minimum clamping value must be about 2 mm smaller than the thickness of the book. After the clamping, the actual support can not be displaced in the strict sense, otherwise it is not conducive to cutting, and the specific strength should be adjusted.
(9) Destructive strength test should be in place. Pull the third, fourth, middle, and third and fourth pages respectively. If you find that the strength is not enough, you must find out the cause and solve it immediately.
(10) Product protection in extreme weather must be in place. Configure relevant personnel and implement relevant systems and processes.
